Graphics isn't all that matters

I t's good looking, but did it entertain me? nope, not at all.

Not bad but nothing new really

Reading it was inspired by works of K itano got my hopes up for somehting diffrent from most Newgrounds movies that often lack of depth.

However now that I've watched the movie I can see that the Kitano inspiration were mostly limited to the main character and it was more of a John Woo inspired movie with guns that fire unlimited ammo and heads exploding and all that... sure those movies can be entertaining but they never really become more then a feast for the eye adb frankly when someone attempts to do something like it in flash the results are kind of bleak.

And well I do understand it's hard to animate and takes time, but maybe that why flashmakers should try to focus more on a good story and character so th at we don't just get a badly animated movie full with exploding heads and car chases without any cause.

However this is Newgrounds so maybe you can't expect all of that and I see you got a pretty high score there so you've obviously satisfied the majority of voters... and maybe that's good enough for you but you haven't really contributed with anything new, nothing that break new grounds so to say, because in the end this is just your average "run out of mill" action flash and nothing more.

ps. Sorry about being a "bitch", but what i mean is for an action flash this is succesful (even if the graphics didn't impress much and that whole exploding head thing looked really weird.), but am i'm personally really bored with this sort of flashmovies.
So despite all I've said keep up the good work.

[FLCL Tribute]

bad tribute

I like FLCL just as much as the next reviewer but thiswas really crappy... It was just a slideshow of picture, no animation...the graphic was good but you probaly used drew over a picture following the lines... no real talent really(assumption). The music, of course, was good(the only good).... crap... play my crappy flcl game instead of this!(self-promotion)

a decent music video

The video was done in a very objectly view on the text without going deeper in the meaning of them, not that i know if they're deeper but you can always pretend.
The graphics were good at some parts but at most parts it failed.horribly.
The music of course is a great piece but as said you didn't do much of it.
overall a decent attempt to make a music video. Next time try to analyse the lyrics and improve graphics.

Nothing special.

Bad graphics(except for the anatomy) and mostly not much animation. The story was lame, i don't know if i missed something but a man running in the metro in a cape with a sword that would fit a Japanese RPG. what's up with that?
The gore isn't that gory it mostly look like a text book example of the bodys anatomy and doesn't really fit with the ugly graphics.
And beautiful? there's nothing beautiful with it! There's just crappy story mixed in with a little sentimental boohoo (and it wasn't well done) and some pictures of the bodys anatomy.
Next time if you want to do something stylish and gory i advice you
to have a little more realistic story or at least not "that" geeky.
Also if you gonna use the anatomy thingy again train up your drawing skills so they fit with the rest.
This is just your average flash and nothing more. and if theres something i missed out that would change my rating to higher one I apoligize-

by the way, whats up with the guy having pictures of the anatomy in his room? Its not like they help in investigating by looking of some pictures of the bodys anatomy! Or is he just disturbed.?

Not worthy < score 4.00, I mean the only good thing about is the low size! in other it's only a decent flash with nearly no plot at all and
boring graphics. wellwell...

Probaly the best graphics on NG.
Voice acting wasn't the best but did what
it should do in a ok way.
ANd somehow it feels like watching my lifestory.
you know i was an experimental kid and now i got super powers and fight baddies with skull as heads... sometimes I even kill birds.

Really nice.. a bit short and the ending maybe wasn't the best... great anyway-
